Rebecca Thorley

Founder

While studying law, Rebecca traveled to the USA and volunteered in a capital defense center, where she assisted defendants on Louisiana's death row. On her return, she volunteered with Amnesty UK for several years. After graduating law school, Rebecca trained with one of London's leading criminal defense firms, where she gained valuable experience in serious crimes including murder, kidnapping, fraud, and drug offenses. After gaining trial experience, Rebecca moved into juvenile practice for several years and gained media coverage for her relentless defense of children facing antisocial behavior disorders, which was a new government initiative at the time.

In 2010, Rebecca moved to Washington State. After passing the bar exams, she worked with two firms that practiced criminal law with an emphasis on DUI convictions. Rebecca has gained valuable experience in this field and has gained respect among her colleagues. In 2013, Rebecca founded Thorley Defense Law, a firm with an emphasis on criminal law – both felony and misdemeanor. She is licensed to practice in Washington, Wales and England. Rebecca also practices in the field of immigration law, in which she represents clients across the United States.
